Maintenance Technician Job Description

Duties of the maintenance technician position at A.A.S., Inc. include, but are not limited to the following tasks and projects.

Must be self-motivated and able to perform most tasks with minimal supervision.

Must be able to provide references that indicate past experience in most or all of the required fields.

Vehicle maintenance includes routine maintenance to all company owned vehicles.  This would include tire changes and rotation, minor engine repairs, lubrication and other maintenance and preventive maintenance as assigned.

Building maintenance includes maintaining buildings inside and out.  Light carpentry, plumbing and electrical repairs and assist with all outside contractor projects.

Grounds maintenance includes mowing, weed control and other outdoor property maintenance as assigned.

Applicant must have an acceptable valid Illinois Driver's license with no more than one violation within the past three years with no DUI record.

While we are not expecting someone to be fully trained in all tasks, salary would be based on your experience.

Normal hours are Monday through Friday 0800 AM to 0430 PM - occasional weekends / overtime with occasional call back.  This is a full time job and layoffs will not occur for a motivated employee.
